TourSolver SDK FAQ's:
Q: Can TSDK plan routes for multiple vehicles?
A: Yes. TSDK can plan routes using the fewest vehicles necessary to complete the work, or use all of your vehicles.
Q: Can TSDK help me create territories or districts?
A: Yes. With TSDK you can create sectors, isochrones or territories based on drive-times or distances.
Q: Can I use my own street network data with TSDK?
A: Yes, provided it meets some simple requirements.
Q: I have heavy vehicles and want to make sure that they can drive the itinerary created. Is this possible?
A: Yes. TSDK will take truck attributes (weight, height, length, etc) into account and ensure they are able to drive the itinerary. (Note: Truck Attributes are contingent upon the road network data used. In the U.S. they are delivered standard with TSDK)
Q: Do I have to use the map display included with TSDK?
A: No. You may already have a standard map display which can display the routes, or you could develop an application that does not require displaying a map.
Q: Do I need to buy a geocoder separately to convert addresses into X,Y?
A: No. TSDK comes with geocoding functionality which you can incorporate into your application. We also offer Geocoder (an off-the-shelf geocoder).
Q: Can I develop an application which I intend to install on a server?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I incorporate a route optimization application within our software application and distribute it?
